If heading south on the 128 today, go tasting at Toulouse Vineyards, Foursight Wines, Esterlina (by appointment), or Meyer Family Cellars. Nice people and great wine.
Outdoors
Walk to the water fall at Russian Gulch State Park (3 miles one way) or Walk Jug Handle State park and see five different forest zones in one walk. Both worthwhile
If heading south on the 128, stop at Hendy Woods State park (turn right up Greenwood Philo Road) and walk amongst old growth redwoods. A worthwhile stop.
