Mushroom Exploration Tours
Participants will meet in the Stanford Inn lobby at 10AM before heading out on a mushroom foraging walk, led by Ryane Snow, Ph.D. Approximately 3 hours long. $20/person. Children under 16 free. Call 707-489-8341 for further details.
If heading south on the 128 today, stop at Navarro, Toulouse or Myer Vineyards for nice people and great wines.
Outdoors
Walk Russian Gulch State park which is about 1 mile north of Mendocino. This walk takes you three miles up to a beautiful waterfall.
If heading south on the 128, stop at Hendy Woods State park (turn right up Greenwood Philo Road) and walk amongst old growth redwoods. A worthwhile stop.
