Food & Wine
It's still mushroom season, and many restaurants have mushroom focused menus. Try Mendo Bistro's three-course dinner menu in Ft Bragg (Main Street at Redwood Ave)

If heading down the 128 Anderson Valley Road, stop at Toulouse, Foursight, Londer, or Meyer Family Cellars for nice people and great wine.

Outdoors
Just north of Mendocino Village by 2 miles is Russian Gulch State Park. Walk three miles up the trail to a nice waterfall.

Or walk the trail across from Glendeven to the headlands and watch the big rolling waves today.
