The chefs, Brian and Shennen Morris are both graduates of the culinary institute in New York. The wine is sourced from Mendocino County only. It’s a very nice evening in the farmhouse’s lounge by the fire with new friends.

1) The Botanical Gardens just south of Ft Bragg are a great way to spend time on this perfect weather day. They are 45 acres out to the sea. When at the headlands, be sure to watch for migrating whales.

2) Kayak up the Big River -- rent kayaks at catch a Canoe at the Stanford Inn (one mile north of Glendeven.) They’re nice people, and it’s a beautiful ride up the river. Make your turn-around point at the change of tide.
