Outdoors
Headlands Walk
Before the storm blows in, make sure you get to the headlands of Van Damme State Park – the entrance is directly across the driveway from Glendeven. Walk 15 minut4s the cliffs of the ocean, then turn right and go north along the bluff through the woods to the open meadow that is Spring Ranch. A very worthwhile walk.
If heading south on the 128, stop at Hendy Woods State park (turn right up Greenwood Philo Road) and walk amongst old growth redwoods. A worthwhile stop.
