Outdoors
Just north of Mendocino Village by 2 miles is Russian Gulch State Park. Walk three miles up the trail to a nice waterfall.
Or take refuge from the forecasted showers today on the well-wooded trail that runs up Van Damme State Park. The best bet today is to drive into the park and up to the trailhead in through the campgrounds.
