6:30 pm Stefanie Freele, “Feeding Strays”. Sensitive and unruly, sincere and absurd, Stefanie Freele’s Feeding Strays is a collection of fifty short stories about children, family, relationships, and oysters. Food/Wine
11-3pm Go to the Mendocino Farmers' Market. Find the Sea Salt folks. Super nice and super cool product.

4-6 pm: Margarita Contest -- created by Mendocino's best bartenders, you'll vote on your favorite margarita samples. Little River Inn $20 Reservations 937-5942.

Outdoors
Kayak up Big River through Catch-A-Canoe. Best bet is to plan your turn around time at 3:50 PM at high tide change today, but be aware you need to be back by 5:00 PM. Look for the family of otters, harbor seals, and tons of water birds, all without a single house in sight. A pristine paddle on this beautiful day.
